"Great bags for the money" 2008-11-15

These bags are the only ones I have used. They are quite easy to use because the zipper seal allows you to keep the bag open and transfer milk into them. They stand up well, seal tightly and do not leak. They are also the least expensive I have found. I often pump right into them (medela pump) without any difficulty if I run out of bottles at work - just have to hold the bags at the zipper firmly to the neck of the flange. I mainly use these to freeze milk. They are a little inaccurate in measurement (+1/2 ounce) - seems they state more milk is in the bag than there really is. They do leak a little when used as drop in liners due to how thick the plastic is. Over all, this is a good product.

I love these bags. I used them for 11 months while having to pump at work. They never leaked and worked really well when freezing milk.

I'm so angry at this bags. It's so hard for me to express milk to fill them up. Only today, 3 of them leaked. Please, please, please, don't buy these horrible bags. The Medella ones are much better. Urrg, I'm so angry!!!

I tried these with my first baby. About one out of every 10 bags or so will leak out the top, where the seal is. (The seal only has 1 zipper at the top.) I moved on to the Lansinoh bags, which a) never leak; b) are made of a little bit better plastic (I think); c) have a double seal at the top of the bag. Get the Lansinoh bags; don't even bother with these unless you are in a pinch and this is the only brand of bag available at the store. My second baby has benefitted from Lansinoh milk storage. Even using the Target in-store brand plastic bottle liners to store my milk with a twist-tie on top didn't produce leaks!!

 "They leak" 2007-07-11

Not only do they leak they don't stand that well. I haven't defrosted one yet, but all I did was spread apart the top seam to make sure it was closed and no it wasn't.
