I have used these bottles for about a year, and am getting ready to wean. I used them for the first 5 months for storing frozen milk (I wasnt rotating them), then when I went back to work, I rotated in the frozen milk and started using the bottles with the rack to store milk in the fridge. Like most others have said, this is certainly more cost effective than bags. My daughter wasnt ever a big drinker, so I would use from 2 to 3 and a half a day, so stored about 3 or 4 days of pumped milk (with BF for the morning, noon and night feedings [daycare was next to work]).
This also worked with my medela PIS advanced pump without any problems. I didnt find cleaning the separate caps an issue, though Im not sure why they designed them this way to begin with.
The one thing they could improve on would be to make it from the same material as the medela bottles. I think they are both polypropelene, but for some reason, the fat on the medela would come off a lot easier than on these bottles. Maybe because these have some texture to them? Anyway, the reason why this is a shortcoming is that, because these are stored horizontally, there's a much larger surface area on the top of the milk than if they were stored vertically (which wouldnt work in the rack system, of course). Because all the good fat rises to the top, then it takes a while of sitting on the counter and swirlling the milk to get this fat to off the sides. It can take something like 20 minutes or so to get all the fat off the sides, versus with medela bottles where it may only take a couple minutes.
I would definitely buy this, but recommend to the product managers to make this out of the other material.

This is a great item for organizing your freezer while breastfeeding/pumping. It's also perfect if you have a baby in daycare because you can just grab the bottles and go. Her nipples fit on the bottles so it really was a breeze. This is the second purchase I've made of these because the first set, several bottles broke. That's the only negative thing about these. If you're klutzy, watch out! The frozen bottles of milk will crack on the ceramic floor, as I have found out the hard way. But definitely worth the money overall.

I love this system. My husband is a stay at home parent and he never is confused about which bottle in the fridge he should use. I find the bottles attach to my Medela pump perfectly. It doesn't take up much space in the fridge. The bottles have never leaked, even after dozens and dozens of uses and runs through the dishwasher. We have also found that the caps/nipples from the cheapo Gerber bottles fit on the MilkMate bottles without any leakage.
The only thing is that the bottles only mark to 4oz. Not a big issue for us, I just fill to the neck. We also have never freezed these bottles so I do not know how they work in that situation.

I purchased 2 racks and love them. They are a little island of organization admist the chaos of baby products we have for our new daughter. As stated in another review the lids are a little difficult to screw on, but not so much as to be annoying. I like that they are diswasher safe. I don't wash the lids/plugs in the diswasher because they would fall through the racks so they end up sitting around until I can hand wash them - I'm worried that they are going to get lost.

I work fulltime and pump every day. These fit right onto my Medela pump and I can screw on a Dr. Browns nipple, collar, and vent (with the straw cut down) for feeding. The rack is a very nice way to keep the bottles organized and out-of-the-way in the fridge. Despite the sideways storage, I have never had any leaks. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about my husband not grabbing the oldest milk to feed my son when I'm away, as he knows to just take whatever is in front.
Due to my hatred of milk storage bags, I purchased an array of milk storage bottles instead. Of all the bottles I tried, I found these to be the most comfortable for pumping, due to the size and shape. I can rest the bottles on my legs when sitting down and effectively pump hands-free without wearing a special hands-free pumping contraption. The threading also fits very securely onto my Medela pump, so there is no worry of the bottles getting knocked off mid-pumping. It should be noted that the neck of these bottles seems to be ever so slightly wider than standard. When I first got them, I thought they were too big to fit the Dr. Browns tops onto... but I found that they do fit, it's just very snug and might take a little effort to get on.
I would like these bottles even better if they were slightly larger by maybe an ounce. You don't really want to put much more than 4oz in these bottles. I've come to the point where I need more storage bottles, but my son is now eating at least 4oz at a feeding, sometimes more, so to get a full feeding into one bottle I'll probably opt to purchase more of the Lansinoh bottles instead.
