I was really excited to find a Medela pump i could afford, but after 2 months of trial and error, I am giving up and buying a new pump. This pump is loud, rough on my breasts and after 30 minutes of pumping I can only get out 1 ounce or less. Also it is already loosing suction. Save your $60 and put it towards a quality pump. I am getting the Lanisoah double pump. I have researched it a lot and it is the only pump i cant find a truly bad review on. Everyone is different and if you have very small breasts and are only wanting to pump a couple times a week this pump may work for you, but I would not recommend it to a friend.

I only pump enough so my hubby can give my baby a bottle a day or so. I thought this would be perfect because it is small but still electric. It worked great for the first three days, but then it just stopped sucking. I called the manufacturer, and she said that you have to take the small yellow valve with the little white membrane all apart and wash that in addition to the other parts. I took it apart and washed it and it started working fine again. Thank goodness! I would give it three stars, but it wont let me change it!

I bought this to use for pumping at work when I returned from maternity leave. I ignored the fact that it is rated as "occasional use" and used it twice a day every workday. After 3 weeks the pump was sounding like it was ready to die every time I turned it on. I was able to get a replacement from Medela via the warranty but after only one week that one is already sounding the same way. The pump works fine when it is working. But it definitely shouldn't be used more than once a week (or maybe just once a month!)! I am replacing it with a Medela Swing, hopefully it will work better for me! If you are intending to pump often, spend the money and buy a higher quality pump!

I have a three months old baby that is 100% feeded from me. I have two weeks working full time and my baby always have enough milk. I bought this one and for me is perfect, I don't know why is an occasional use pump, I used it aproximately three times a day.

i was a bit nervous about buying this because i have had the manual pump with my first child, and it hurt soooo much. To my surprise I have been quite comfortable, and it has actually increased my flow. I use it occasionally, but it has been a life saver.
